This department plans and executes a wide range of community events throughout the year to promote the Arts, theater, family and music activities. Our diverse programming is designed to appeal to the entire community and bring people together. We also provide assistance to local organizations for their annual Hoboken events.

Fitness, Yoga, Pilates in the Park  – Click for 2018 Schedule
Free outdoor fitness classes in parks throughout Hoboken. Wear comfortable clothing, bring your mat and a bottle of water. See recently added schedules for: Southwest Park, Northwest Pop-Up Park, Pier A Park, Maxwell Place Park, Under the 14th Street Viaduct and Pier C Park

Concert Series in the NEW Southwest Park
Free outdoor performances, Tuesday nights from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Located on Observer Highway bet. Jackson & Harrison St. Special thanks to Max Feinstein and Silver Horse Sound for their help in making this series possible.

Takes place in front of the gazebo Wednesdays. in June July & Aug., 7pm to 9pm

Takes place along the walkway on Sinatra Drive bet. 1st & 2nd Streets.
Lots of great food, live music & family atmosphere.
Tickets available for purchase beginning June 10th at City Hall in the Cultural Affairs Office, 3rd floor.

Artists Studio Tour 2018
Sun. Nov. 5th, noon to 6pm

Free self-guided walking tour of artists’ studios and community gallery spaces.
Pick up maps at City Hall on the day of the tour, located at 94 Washington St.

Art on the Fence: 2018 Art exhibition TBA soon.
An Outdoor Mural Project featuring the work of  local artists
Takes place on 11th St. from Hudson St. to Maxwell Lane and 11th & Hudson
heading east along Sinatra Drive.
Special thanks to Toll Brothers City Living for their support of this project.

Embayment Paddling Program
Schedule TBA;
Join Resilience Adventures this summer down at the Boathouse for some

paddling or kayaking in a protected embayment.
Hoboken Youth Paddle Camp and Mommy/Daddy & Me Kayaking.
All classes take place at the Hoboken Cove Boathouse, 11100 Sinatra Dr. N.

Harvest Festival
Sat., Oct. 20, 2018 • 11am-3pm;

Hay rides, a hay maze, pony rides, petting zoo, moonwalk, face painting,pumpkin painting,
balloon art, craft activities, soccer, dance & gymnastic demos, live music & dance
and much more.

Ragamuffin Parade
Wed. Oct. 31, 2018; Parade begins at 3pm
Line of march setup for the parade is
on Washington St. & 13th Streets beginning at 3pm;
Costume contest at Little League Field
on 5th St. & River Terrace.
Prizes awarded for best costumes.

We are no longer accepting applications for this years competition.
