The Hoboken Historic Preservation Commission reviews and acts on applications for any exterior addition, renovation, or alteration visible to the public on buildings, structures, or property located within a locally designated historic district, and on all locally designated landmarks.
The Commission is also responsible for reviewing applications for development that include demolition or substantial deconstruction of an existing residential building when the application does not require approval by the Planning Board or Board of Adjustment.

Historic Preservation Design Guidelines
The Hoboken Historic Preservation Commission meetings are generally held on the first Monday of each month, at 6:30 PM in the Conference Room of City Hall (ground floor). The following meeting dates are subject to change as necessary.
