The Friends of Church Square Park is a community volunteer organization working to preserve and enhance the physical, natural, and cultural heritage of this historic urban park. We strive to ensure the park’s vitality as a green space and encourage its use and appreciation by neighbors, visitors, and future generations of Hobokenites.
Our work falls into three categories: Service, Community Outreach/Engagement, and Philanthropy. We work in partnership with the City to foster park stewardship and provide a forum for community input on park improvements. We promote programs that bring the community into the park to learn, recreate, and make friends. We increase fiscal and human resources dedicated to Church Square Park in order to meet the needs of the Park’s surrounding community.
We are governed by a leadership board, and will receive support from gracious members, donors, and grants. If you would like to support the Friends of Church Square Park, please click here and check the box for Church Square Park.
