NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the representative of the Purchasing Department, for the City of Hoboken, County of Hudson, State of New Jersey on November 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. prevailing time at, City Hall 94 Washington Street Hoboken N.J. at which time and place bids will be opened and read in public for:
Bid No. 22-06 - FORMER MONARCH SITE WALKWAY IMPROVEMENTS
Contract Drawings and Specification, and other Bid information may be obtained at the Purchasing Department, Hoboken City Hall, 94 Washington Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030, during regular business hours (9:00 am to 4:00 pm), tel: (201) 420-2000 ext. 1401 or send your request via email below.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, November 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Former Monarch Site at site located at 1501 Shipyard Lane, Hoboken. All prospective bidders are required to attend the meeting.
In addition to the Contract Drawings and Project Specifications, a Street Opening Permit shall be required from the City of Hoboken when working in the Right of Way or if the Contractor needs to close a lane to complete the work. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining the permit.
There will be no fee for the permit. The Contractor shall be responsible for all costs to provide the police presence as required by the permit.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive informalities or irregularities in the proposals received and to accept the proposal in the best interest of the City.
Vendors are required to comply, where applicable, with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5- 31 et seq.,N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq., New Jersey Statutes Title 19 Fair and Open
Process, the City of Hoboken Chapter 20A Fair and Open Process, and all other applicable laws.
