The City of Hoboken will host a public meeting on Thursday,December 7, 2023 at 6PM at the Multi-Service Center located at 124 Grand Street to present the final concept for the design of the proposed 800 Monroe Resiliency Park.
On or before December 15, 2023, the City of Hoboken will submit an application for Resilient Communities Program funding to the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, Division of Disaster Recovery and Mitigation. Funding for the Resilient Communities Program is provided through HUD’s Community Development Block Grant–Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Program, as appropriated by Congress.
The project to be undertaken with CDBG-DR funding includes the subsurface stormwater detention and surface level green infrastructure components of the 800 Monroe Resiliency Park design, to be located at 800 Monroe Street in Hoboken, New Jersey (Block 87, Lot 1.01).
