Resident Parking Permit

Resident Parking Permit:

Residents who have this permit may park in “Permit Parking Only” (white sign) and “Resident Permit Parking Only” (green sign) zones without limitation except during posted street cleaning periods or temporary/emergency restrictions.  This permit is for most Hoboken residents who have their current Hoboken address on their driver’s license and own, lease, or drive a company car properly documented as parked in Hoboken.  Resident parking permits are issued on an annual basis as either a placard or decal and expire at 11:59PM on the last day of their validity.

The yearly fees for an on-street residential permit are as follows: $27 for seniors/persons with disabilities, $57 for the first vehicle, $114 for the second vehicle, and $228 for the third vehicle. The new rates reflect recent Consumer Price Index (CPI) increases, as the ordinance permits.
