ADDENDUM TO BID DOCUMENTS


BID 24-15 - CHURCH SQUARE PARK PHASE 1 IMPROVEMENTS-This Addendum # 1 dated November 15, 2024, is issued to modify the above-mentioned BID, and is hereby made part of the BID documents. Please attach this Addendum #1 to the original documents in your possession and ensure same is included in your proposal. This addendum includes:


Q1:“Can you please tell me when all questions are due? Both of the below are in the specs:

1)The final day to submit any bid questions shall be 12:00PM on November 08, 2024.

2)No oral interpretation and/or clarification of the meaning of the specifications for any goods and services will be made to any Vendor.

Such request shall be in writing, addressed to the City’s representative stipulated in the specification. In order to be given consideration, a written request must be received at least three (3) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening/deadline of the proposal for goods and services.”


A1: All questions must have been submitted by 12:00PM on November 08, 2024.


Q2: “Can you please provide clarification if the bid is requesting pricing for 6’ 1939 World’s Fair Bench according to the schedule of values or should we price the 8’ 1939 World's Fair bench according to the detail on the plan.”


A2: The 1939 World’s Fair bench shall be 8’ length per the plans and details. The following pages have been revised accordingly to reflect the correct pay item name ‘Park Bench’:

Q3: “The trash receptacles are mentioned in the specifications section 32 33 00- Site Furnishing – the detail is also on plan, but there is no mention of quantities on the schedule of values. Can you please clarify.”
A3: The Trash and Recycling Receptacle shall be included in the contract and is missing in the Schedule of Values. The following items have been revised accordingly:

Pay Item 76 ‘Trash and Recycling Receptacle” has been added to the Schedule of Values.

Pay Item 76 ‘Trash and Recycling Receptacle” has been added to the 01 12 00 - Measurement and Payment Specification.

Pay Item 76 ‘Trash and Recycling Receptacle” name has been revised in 32 33 00 - Site Furnishings.

Pay Item 76 ‘Trash and Recycling Receptacle” has been added to the G-002 Notes and Legend.

Detail 3 on L-504 has been revised to reflect the appropriate mounting conditions.

This addendum is posted on the City of Hoboken website to ensure compliance. The City will not accept any further questions at this time.

There are no other changes to the BID documents as of this addendum.
