NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

MAMA JOHNSON FIELD IMPROVEMENTS
HUDSON COUNTY, NEW JERSEY
The City of Hoboken City Council will hold a Public Hearing on this project in the Council Chambers at Hoboken City Hall, 94 Washington Street, Hoboken, NJ at 7:00 p.m. during its regular meeting on Monday, June 17, 2024.
The project is located at 400 Jackson Street (between Jackson Street, 4thStreet, Marshall Drive, and 5th Street), Block 56 Lot 1. The lot is approximately69,880 square feet or approximately 1.6 acres.
The project will be constructed in two (2) phases. In the first phase, public restrooms will be constructed in the existing Mail Building which is owned by the Housing Authority of the City of Hoboken and serves the Andrew Jackson Gardens apartments. This phase includes installation of satellite mailboxes to relocate those affected by construction and replacement the existing remaining mailboxes. Phase Two involves the construction of a raised press box behind home plate. It will be located in the planted area behind the backstop fencing and require the removal of one tree.
