The below described motor vehicles came into the possession of the City of Hoboken through the abandonment and/or failure of owners to claim same.
Take further notice: all vehicles are in used condition, may not be operable, parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. Also, defects other than those in plain view may exist.
Each vehicle is being offered "as is / as sold / no warranty" for sale.
An additional fee of two dollars ($2.00) above the sale price shall be charged for each vehicle being auctioned to pay the costs of the junk title certificates.

The City shall offer each of the vehicles herein on an individual basis with the minimum bids listed for each, below.
Take further notice that all vehicles must be removed from the auto impound no later than ten(10) days after the date of this auction. In the event any such successful bidder fails to remove said vehicles in the time set forth herein, then, at the sole discretion of the City, the City may declare the vehicle abandonment by the successful bidder of the particular vehicle or vehicles which have not been removed in accordance herewith, or the City may, in the alternative, declare the sale void and the monies paid by such successful bidders forfeited to the City.
The City shall reserve the right to withdraw any of the vehicles from the sale at any time prior to payment by a successful bidder. This sale of motor vehicles pursuant to this law bars all claims of interest in said motor vehicles forever by anyone other than the purchaser(s) at this sale. The City of Hoboken reserves the right to reject any and all bids for vehicles or equipment.
Payment must be made immediately at the time of successful bid, or the City reserves the right to rebid the vehicle and/or withdraw the vehicle from sale.
