Notice is hereby given that sealed contractor pre-qualification questionnaires will be received by the CITY OF HOBOKEN at the Office of the Business Administrator, Hoboken City Hall, 94 Washington Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030 no later than 2:00 PM on THURSDAY JUNE 8, 2023.
RFQ 23-08 - THE CITY OF HOBOKEN IS SEEKING TO PRE - QUALIFY GENERAL CONTRACTORS PRIOR TO THE BIDDING OF THE PORTICO RESTORATION and NORTH STAIR FIRE DOORS PROJCT AT HOBOKEN CITY HALL
Portico Restoration and North Stair Fire Doors Project at 94 Washington Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030.
Construction Bids for completion of the work will be requested following approval of prequalified
contractors.
Work includes, but is not limited to, the following:
A. Repair of historic architectural brownstone.
B. Replacement of stone stair treads and landing.
C. Restoration of existing metal stair railings and installation of new guardrails.
D. New front entry door and transom.
E. New fire rated doors, sidelights, and transoms at the north stairs.
A PRE-SUBMISSION MEETING WILL BE HELD AT HOBOKEN CITY HALL, 94 WASHINGTON STREET, ON TUESDAY, MAY
23, 2023, AT 10:00 AM. ATTENDANCE AT THIS MEETING IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED FOR GENERAL CONTRACTORS.
All submissions must be submitted on the Bidder Pre-Qualification Statement Forms furnished by the
Architect. Supplemental project experience information and project experience photos may be
submitted as additional materials. Electronic Pre-Qualification packages will be available at no
cost by contacting the offices of HMR Architects. Contact Kurt Leasure at tel. (609) 452-1070 or
leasure@hmr-architects.com to request Pre-Qualification Packages. If needed, Pre-Qualification
packages are also be available for a non- refundable cost of $40.00 by contacting HMR Architects
located at 821 Alexander Road, Suite 115, Princeton, NJ 08540 from 9:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday -
Friday.
