Hoboken Farmers Markets return for 2021

Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla and the City of Hoboken are pleased to announce that starting tomorrow, the Uptown Farmers Market, sponsored by Bijou Properties, will return to the 14th Street Viaduct on Saturdays (9 am – 2 pm) through the fall. Additionally, the Hoboken Farmers Market, sponsored by the Quality of Life Coalition, will return to Garden Street at Church Square Park on every Tuesday (2 pm – 7:30 pm) beginning June 1. Both markets will offer nutritious fruits, vegetables, and other local products.

“The City of Hoboken is proud to bring back both farmers markets for another season,” said Mayor Bhalla. “I thank Bijou Properties, the Quality of Life Coalition, all of the vendors, Director Jen Gonzalez, and Dave Calamoneri for once again providing access to fresh fruits and vegetables for our residents.”

“We’re really proud of the success we had last season and being able to activate the neighborhood with this great space under the viaduct,” said Larry Bijou, managing partner of Bijou Properties, which hosts the Uptown Farmers Market. “We’re thankful to the community for the support and look forward to providing the same safe experience again this year.”

Uptown Farmers Market

The City of Hoboken, in partnership with Bijou Properties will host the Uptown Farmers Market every Saturday from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM under the 14th Street Viaduct between Grand and Adams Streets. The market will open starting Saturday, May 1, 2021. Vendors include Stony Hill Farms, Cotton Cattle, Hoboken Farms, Roger’s Seafood, Picklicious, Chocopain and Paolo’s Kitchen. There will also be live music on select dates.

Hoboken Farmers Market

The City of Hoboken will host the Hoboken Farmers Market, sponsored by the Quality of Life Coalition, every Tuesday from 2:00 PM – 7:30 PM on Garden Street between Fourth and Fifth Streets. The market will open for its 23nd season starting June 1, 2021. The markets will be located on the sidewalks along the east side of Church Square Park and the west side of Demarest School. Union Hill Farms, Melick’s Town Farm and Circle Brook Organic farms will all be selling New Jersey produce. Pickle-Licious, Gourmet Dried Fruits and Nuts and Hoboken Farms will be selling their locally made products.
